| Summary: | College is an institution that has a big responsibility. Colleges have a responsibility to ensure the future successors of the nation, future leaders, have provision in the future. Indirectly, this responsibility makes universities attract attention in every city in Indonesia. Including the government. Many government regulations, both national government and local government, has regulations that support universities, while maintaining the continuity of teaching and learning activities in Indonesia. This shows that the government realizes the importance of universities. One of the rules is about the campus canteen. <br />

This research produces factors that if affect the process of making good college canteen, by using data collection method with questioner, and method of data processing with factor analysis. The resulting factors are expected to be the main consideration points in the process of making a good campus canteen, which is combined with government regulation. <br />
<br />
The results of this study are student preference for the variables that the authors ask, factors that amount to 8 (eight) factors that indicate the needs or desires of students, and 2 (two) factors that are regulations held by the government. These factors also become the author's input to determine the standard capacity and dimensions of a good canteen. <br />
