Seeing the important role of a server, good operational conditions are required to achieve good server performance and maintain server security. However, not every server room owner realizes and understands how to properly maintain a server room. Environmental condition should be maintained in a certain state in order to prevent damage that could lead to data loss. Hence, system is designed to monitor the environmental condition and report it to the owner in an online platform. Server Room Monitoring System is a system which monitor the temperature, humidity, airflow, power, and motion in server room. The system consists of three subsystems, among them is server subsystem. This subsystem does the transmission and data storage. Server subsystem is responsible for communication between microcontroller, database, website, and GSM module. The microcontroller transmits the data and store it in database periodically by Internet. Then, the data are displayed in the website so they are accesible to the user, and then the data will be sent to GSM module. Furthermore, if the environmental condition in room server is beyond the ideal one, GSM module will alert the owner by sending a notification via SMS.<p align="justify"> text |
