| Summary: | <p align="justify">Life in big city makes its citizens easy to get stressed. Therefore, people use their leisure time, either after work or on holidays to do recreation. Sports and recreation are very connected and must be integrated with each other. BSD City is one of Tangerang's growing cities in Indonesia and has a mission of creating harmonious relationships between commercial and living activities for its residents. However, until now BSD City does not yet have an integrated sports facility in the city scale, so the recreation facilities become less optimal. Therefore, a city scale sport club is needed to be the answer of BSD residents’ need of recreation. The purpose of this sport club is to be a physical recreation (sport), as well as social recreation and equipped with various supporting facilities that can be utilized by the public, especially BSD City residents. This project is the master plan of Sinarmas Land with area 3.7 Ha. The general concept of sport club in BSD City is to respond the context of BSD City area and sport club issues as a recreational facility and regional identity. As the biggest sports club in BSD City, this sport club is expected to become an icon for BSD City itself. Sport club as an icon of BSD City not only have an iconic shape, but also become an icon of the lifestyle of BSD City residents which is healthy, fun, and quality. Sport club has a uniqueness compared to other sports clubs because of its shape that does not have a functional shape and has a half-recreation function. Carrying the concept of fun, sport club has a dynamic and organic form, a warm and comfortable interior for members, as well as wide green open space as an attractive recreational facility for visitors to eliminate the stress of urban life. Sport club is expected to trigger a healthy lifestyle for the community BSD City.<p align="justify"> |
