The instances of soybean are yellow soybean, mungbean, and black soybean. Indonesia are likely to consume soybean products due to low cost and high nutrition. Farmers and manufacturers only cultivate black soybean to make soybean sauce. However, the cultivation in South Korea has been developing quickly, so it can produce soybean sprout, soybean milk, and soybean oil. In a nutshell, the development of black soybean cultivation is the main topic of this experiment. By this, the potential of soybean can be discovered especially soybean sprout as one of nutrition sources in Indonesia, so it can enhance most farmers’ economic lives. Soybean Detam-1 has the biggest size and the largest amount of protein among other varieties of soybean. Germination is the stage of embrio growth which begins with imbibition. This germination process involves 730 nm Far Red Light. This experiment determines how far redlight influences biomass, morphology, chlorophyll, and isoflavone of Detam-1 black soybean sprout with 7 treatments such as control, 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, 16 hours, 20 hours, and 24 hours in Biomass Production System Engineering Laboratory Labtek 1A, SITH ITB Jatinangor Campus. This experiment was held from March 14th until April 20th, 2018. It was also held in a germination chamber in order to have homogen, controlled enviroment. Seven installations are needed for germination chamber each divided into 4 partitions using infraboard. Every partition has 50 Detam-1 black soybean seeds. The parameter is biomass including dry weight (netto), wet weight (bruto), and water concentration in sprout (tarra). The morphology includes hypocotyl length and root length. The other parameters are germination ability, chlorophyll measurement, and isoflavone measurement using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography). Isoflavone measurement involves Glycitein, Genistein, and Daidzein, and also purity standards at 0 ppm, 5 ppm, 10 ppm, and 20 ppm. Chlorophyll is measured using spectophotometer and Wintermans and De Mots formula for futher counting. Germination process occurs in 4 days which consists 2 examinations. The data obtained in this experiment are analyzed with Complete Random Plan one way Anova. Each treatment consists of 4 iterations with = 0,05 or 5% error rate. After that, advanced examination using DMRT is conducted to analyzes significant differences in samples. The result mainly states that Detam-1 black soybean germination process has no significant effect at germination ability growth, hypocotile length until day 4, root length, dry weight, and wet weight. However, it results the significant effect in hypocotyl length growth in day 2 on 4-hour treatment. The highest water concentration in day 2 on 4-hour treatment is around 63,73% and in day 4 on 8-hour treatment is 74,37%. Chlorophyll and isoflavone concentration goes fluctuatively. Chlorophyll concentration on 8-hour treatment is 0,158 mg/L. Furthermore, Glycitein, Genistein, and Daidzein have the highest value respectively on 16-hour treatment (around 0,565 ppm), 8-hour treatment (0,590 ppm), and 16-hour treatment (0,538 ppm).<p align="justify"> text
