Summary: | HAPS (High Altitude Platform Station) is a technology development of wireless communication system that will increase the flexibility and reduce the cost of development of a communication system becomes cheaper. This will help spread the telecommunication network for rural areas or disaster-prone areas. Especially the Indonesian state that has a demographic area that is difficult to reach such as hills and islands.
As a renewable technology, HAPS technology is divided into two rides that are balloon rides and platform rides. The platform will be implemented with a main controller that is already integrated with other components. The selection of the main controller device will involve the parameters of weight, volume, accessibility, durability, price and control capability so that the activity at HAPS can take place even at 50 meters from the ground. Activities that occur on HAPS technology will be implemented into services that will be received by users accessing access points at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The services created will be represented in the form of information such as text, sound, images, video and files.
The designed vehicle weighs 1,548 kg, with the longest distance access point distance being 197 m. The platform that is an implementation of the main controller will control service traffic such as telechat, VoIP, file sharing and video streams accessible to users of HAPS technology. The service will be packaged into a web server that can be accessed using a web browser on an intelligent device connected to the HAPS access point which is the result of a patch antenna that has a working frequency specification of 2.4 GHz, VSWR 1.9179 and the reflection coefficient - 10,046 dB. |
