DI) is the only company in Indonesia in the aerospace industry. To create international competitiveness and meet the demands of new clients in aircraft component production, PT. DI implemented bonding and composite technology. The aim of the application of this technology is to be able to conduct low rate production for newest client, namely Airbus Defence & Space (ADS). The application of manufacturing technology has much risks in it, like the missed schedule and cost overruns. Therefore, it is necessary to know manufacturing readiness to find out how the company ability to achieves the program objectives and risks can also be identified. <br /> <br /> Measurement of manufacturing readiness is carried out using a model from the US. Department of Defense (US DoD), manufacturing readiness level (MRL). This MRL consists of 10 levels of manufacturing readiness and is composed of 9 criterias and 22 sub-criterias. This MRL was developed with the Delphi method using relevant experts and is validated with content validity ratio (CVR). The finished measuring instrument consists of 439 indicators in 10 manufacturing readiness levels. <br /> <br /> The measuring result shows PT. DI manufacturing readiness is in MRL 2. The goal that PT. DI need to achieve is related to MRL 8. Thus, there is gaps between manufacturing readiness that owned and needed by PT. DI. It can be stated that PT. DI it is not ready to do low rate production of ADS components with bonding and composite technology. text
