Description
Summary:B2C e-commerce is one of the e-commerce segments that has a large proportion of the market. B2C e-commerce companies generally have differentiation in the categories of products sold, for example Zalora for fashion products and Bhinneka for electronic products. If each e-commerce has its own mobile application, it will be very inconvenient for customers as they need to install many applications to buy different types of products. Therefore, it would be better if the products on ecommerce can be put together and integrated. On the other hand, the massive use of messaging platform such as Messenger and Line is a golden opportunity to make it an e-commerce transaction channel. From these problems and opportunities, the idea emerged to design a system that can unify and integrate products from various existing B2C e-commerce and sell them via chatbot on the Line messaging platform. Integrator system and chatbot implementation is based on analysis of problems, needs, and system design. The integrator system is implemented in web form while the chatbot is implemented using the Python programming language. Tests carried out are functional testing and user acceptance testing. The results of testing carried out on the application can be concluded that the system integrator along with chatbot for e-commerce has been running according to the system functionality requirements. However, there must still be improvements to the development so that the chatbot that is produced has a better performance in handling incoming messages.
