Characteristic of Joint BUMDes (BUMDes Bersama) development as a form of Village Partnership (Case STudy : BUMDes Bersama Danar)

BUMDes is expected to be a part of the multiplayer effect for improving the welfare of villages-society. The apperarence of BUMDes Bersama since village-law establishment become an interesting phenomenon to be explored. The existence of BUMDesa Danar Garut is a realization of village partnership to solve some problems which is executed by villages governments. The goals of this research is to delve into the BUMDes Bersama development as a form village partneship with the objectives i) identifying the incentive factors BUMDes Bersama forming; ii) identifying the governance of BUMDes Bersama, and iii) measure the positif impact towards economic activities of villages’ society. Our research method uses in-depth interview with key actors and stakeholders within the BUMDes Bersama. We found that the main driving incentives factors of villages-partnership is the political-administrative aspect and the spatial-economy aspect that is the political will of the villages leader to prevent some potential of conflicts between villages where it can solved by doing the village partners only. However, good corporate governance principles was still under development in management of BUMDes Bersama. Nevertheless, the impact of BUMDes Bersama on the economic activities of the villages is positively assessed, whether directly impacted was reduced unemployment, improving the welfare of the village apparatus or indirectly for the villages or sub-districts. <br /> <br /> Keywords : BUMDes Bersama, Incentive Factors, Partnesrship, Welfare, Contirbution <br /> <br />
