However in North Maluku there are still many regions that have low electrification ratios and are included in 3T areas (left behind, leading edge, and outermost). One of them is South Halmahera region. This research is done to look for early possibility to create hybrid power plant in the area. The underdeveloped areas in which the research will be conducted will be Makian Island, Western Halmahera of the West. After determining the research area, conducted data collection of renewable energy potential and potential load data in the planning area. These two data become the input to perform system and component design analysis. Systems and component design analyzes include the proper determination of hybrid generator PV-generator system configuration and the selection of components corresponding to the load supplied. After that, do the simulation and optimization using software HOMER Pro, PVSOL and PVSyst. The simulation is done using some system configuration, that is system with pure generator, pv pure, wind pure, PV-generator, and PV-Genset-Wind with renewable fraction 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% and the result of optimasion by the software. The data obtained are Levelize Cost of Energy (LCOE) and Renewable Fraction (RF) values for each system configuration and which analysis is advantageous to implement on Makian Island.<p align="justify"> text
