We modelled sandbox experiment using three different setting in its detachment friction coefficient, thus evaluated using PIV method. Based upon this study we observe 4 phases during thrust fault deformation. The first phase is lateral compaction that reduces porosity followed by development of shear-band, the second phase is rupture occurrence that initiate capillary pressure drop thus initiate the fluid migration along fault zone, the third phase is peak activity of thrust fault movement and the fluid flow, and the last phase is the decreasing of fault activity that ends the fluid migration. From those phases we observe some pre-cursory event that predates the development of rupture such as decreasing acceleration decreasing hanging-wall movement and stick-slip motion before development of broad spaced thrust fault.<p align = "justify"> text |
