| Summary: | Ethics is a set of principles as a guidelines for company’s program, policies and decisions in business. The ethical organization uses to conduct business which can affect the reputation, productivity and bottom line of the business. Ethical business becomes an important issue for PT. Pos Indonesia as state-owned enterprises, to have competition with other companies in attract customers. Ethical behavior on business as one of issue to achieve company’s purpose. This research focus exploring ethical climate at Human Resources Departement in PT. Pos Indonesia, because to maintain business ethic needed Human Resources Department as key system in processes to delivery and monitoring business ethics to convey for employees. The researcher used mixed method in this reasearch it is quantitative and qualitative. Ethical Climate Questionnaire (ECQ) by Victoria and Cullen (1983) there are nine dimension such as: Self Interest, Company Profit, Efficiency, Friendship,Team Interest, Social Responsibility, Personal Morality, Company Rules and Procedures, and Law Professional Codes. For analysis the result used in-dept interview to determine the ethical climate. The questionnaire’s result shown personal morality have lower score than others dimension. There are two factors that contribute to personal morality it is organization practice and dissemination regulation and code of conduct. The suggest it is socialization program about regulation and code of conduct and the second do mentoring and counseling to improving personal morality. |
