Description
Summary:
Efforts to increase the productivity of shrimp pond be done by applying an adequate technology that enable the system to support high shrimp density. In this study a hybrid system (ZWD-RAS) was operated at two densities of 500 and 750 ind / m3 were applied in 21x14 m2 determine the biological, technical and financial feasibility of white shrimp enlargement . The method used is case study with direct observation technique to white shrimp farm with cultivation period June-August 2017 in Gerokgak, Bali. Data collection by recording during and after shrimp harvesting. The stages of constitutive research: (1) Installation of hybrid system (ZWD-RAS) (2) Acclimatization and enlargement on two stocking density (500 and 750 ind/m3) of white shrimp with hybrid system, (3) Biological, technical and financial feasibility analysis to produce 1000 kg of shrimp / production cycle. The results on biological are feasible. Two stocking density in 500 and 750 ind / m3 based on SR, FCR, specific growth rate and total biomass value is SR (%) (83, 01 and 83.45), FCR (1.32 and 1.35), biomass values (Kg) (172,39±14,87 and 188,18±27,89) and productivity values (Kg / m3) (3,45±0,30 and 3,79±0,95) and water quality data include, pH at values (5.97-7.63), DO (3.1-6.9 mg/L), temperature (26.5-28.4° C), NH4 + concentration ( 0-0.5 mg / L), and NO2 concentrations (0.0-5.0 mg / L). The technical feasibility of the cultivation of white shrimp considered feasible considering the parameters of water sources, biophysical conditions, market access and material suppliers. Development of production schemes also support technical feasibility consisting of some units. Financial feasibility analysis shows that hybrid systems (ZWD and RAS) are feasible for 500 and 750 ind / m3, indicating NPV positive, B / C ratio greater than 1 and IRR values higher than discount factor of 16% and 18%. It can be concluded that the application of hybrid system (ZWD-RAS) for the production of white shrimp biologically, technically and financially feasible to be applied in Gerokgak-Buleleng, Bali.
