The production of green mustard can be improved by the provision of organic fertilizer. The use of organic fertilizer in planting medium plays a role in improving physical, biological, and chemical properties of soil especially the availability of N total element. Knowledge of modeling the availability of total N elements on green mustard plays an important role as the basis of large-scale production. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of composted vegetable compost on the availability of N total nutrients compared to control on growth of green mustard var. Tosakan and determine the mathematical model of the availability of N total nutrients on green mustard var. Tosakan planting medium during growth. The study was divided into two parts, namely the study of green mustard cultivation in the field and the research of total N elements in laboratory. The research was carried out by treatment of planting media is 1:1:1 w/w/w composting husk and 1:1:1 w/w/w husk ground soil with NPK fertilizer (treatment control) as a reference of conventional cultivation SOP. Planting is done on polybag with drip irrigation system. Data collection of green mustard cultivation includes the number and extent of leaves, harvest weight, and chlorophyll content of the leaves of harvest. The total data of N element is composite with single sample of each treatment. The result obtained for the average total N element (%) of the green mustard planting medium as a whole (sorted by day after planting: 0; 7; 14; 21; 28) is the compost treatment: 0,500; 0,585; 0,580; 0,615; 0,645 and control treatment: 0,470; 0,590; 0,585; 0,610; 0,600 which shows relatively stable data onto the dominant pattern rising. Based on these data mathematical models of the availability of N elements of total planting media ie compost treatment: y = -0,0073x4 + 0,0946x3 – 0,4302x2 + 0,8229x + 0,02 and control treatment: y = -0,0092x4 + 0,1175x3 – 0,5383x2 + 1,05x – 0,15. <br /> <p align="justify"> <br /> text
