Description
Summary:Depression is a mental state in which a person experiences emotional disturbances that affect

the mindset, feelings, moods, and one’s lifestyle. Depression can affect lifestyles that can lead

to thoughts of self-harm and suicide. With the high social pressure & daily problems, the

number of people with depression continue to increase every year without any increase in the

number of existing facilities. The current rehabilitation facilities still need to be developed to

meet the psychological standards. Depression rehabilitation facilities in Indonesia alone are

still limited to mental hospitals or independent consultants/from small-scale agencies, and have

no concern about the user's psychological condition, which in the sense is still more focused

on the functional aspects of the facility. This can affect the effectiveness of the healing process

of people with depression. Based on the concept of healing environment, this design aims to

create the ideal environment for people with depression using interior elements that are adapted

to psychological aspects as a method of supporting the healing process of people with

depression.
