The research area is located in western area of Wayang-Windu Geothermal Field that had produced at 227 MW. Delineation of geothermal boundary in the field is still using geophysical data that commonly conducted in advance exploration. The purpose of this research is to study the geological setting that will support delineation of geothermal boundary using geology and geochemical data. The primary data used are the result of geological mapping, 5 samples of thermal springs, and 8 samples of cold springs. The secondary data used are rain water samples around research area, MT (Magnetotelluric) map, resistivity map, and wellpad data. Analysis of geomorphology, volcanostratigraphy, geological structure, and 28 petrographic samples were conducted to determine lithological units and spring group. Analysis of physical and measured parameter in field, chemical parameter, and isotope were carried out to determine the thermal fluids contamination in cold springs. Then, the integration and
validation is conducted using MT map, resistivity maps, and wellpad data. The result of this research shows that there are 15 geomorphological units and 21 lithological units that divided into 4 khuluk and 7 gumuk. Khuluk Malabar and Khuluk Wayang-Windu are associated with springs emergence. Secondary geological structure is also control the emergence of springs. AD-SK, MAD-02, MAD-05, MAD-06, and MAD-07 are contaminated cold springs by thermal fluids of Wayang-Windu Geothermal System.
Wayang-Windu Geothermal System Boundary is divided into 3 systems that delineated by volcanostratigraphy, geological structure, and the emergence of contaminated cold springs.
The geothermal system boundary consists of north system boundary that associated with Gumuk Panganten, middle system boundary that associated with Gumuk Wayang, and
south system boundary that associated with Gumuk Windu.
