From year to year there is an increase in consumer demand that causes catering X continues to improve the level of service. In 2017, the amount of weighted waste generated by catering X ± 640 kg per day with characteristics that contain water content 88%, volatile content 91%, 85% carbon content, and 3% dry weight nitrogen and phosphate. Catering X waste often cause public unrest due to the smell and leach produced. Therefore, planned and designed catering waste processing facilities X to process waste into useful materials and reduce the burden of waste that must be borne by the environment. One alternative solution for processing catering waste by using anaerobic processing using anaerobic digester unit. Anaerobic digester is a processing unit with a series of biological processes in which microorganisms break down biodegradable materials from waste in conditions without oxygen. One of the final products of the processing is biogas that can be processed into gas fuel. The design process of anaerobic digester begins with sampling to determine the composition and amount of catering waste, the characteristics of the waste are analyzed in the laboratory. After the characteristics data obtained, performed data analysis as the basis of designing anaerobic digester unit on the available land. In addition to anaerobic digester, also designed support units such as shredder, conveyor belt, leachate shelter, gasbio purifier, and gasbio shelter. The result is dimension of anaerobic digester unit that is 1,5 m×1,7 m×1,55 m. The planned Anaerobic digester will consist of 30 columns of digester the size of each column of 2 m3 and retention time for 30 days. In addition to the design of the anaerobic digester unit, the design of units of anaerobic digester unit will be equipped with drawings of processing units, architectural details, and various considerations in the construction of units according to the theme and object to be designed.

text |
