Summary: | This study aims to identify the forms of innovation conducted by business entities of Binongjati Knitting Industry, District Batununggal, Bandung. And how its influence on the sustainability of business as a creative industry of Bandung. To achieve this goal, in addition to looking at the history and development of the knitting industry center, researchers also analyze some variables called as the form and sustainability of the business as a creative industry and the linkage between the two. The variables associated with this form of innovation are derived from the concepts put forward by Rogers (2003), Johhanessen (2001), and the OECD Oslo Manual, which includes Product Innovation, Process Innovation, Management Innovation, and Marketing Innovation. It then introduced the variables that became indicators in business sustainability, using derived concepts put forward by Fatoki (2014) and Rogers in Dibra (2015). Further Concept and Creative Economy use the theory put forward by Florida (2012) and Fahmi (2016), as well as Guides from UNCTAD (2013) and DCMS (2013). Besides, it is related to the potential of the creative industry sector in developing the local economy using theories and concepts put forward by Firman (1999) and Coffey&Polese 1984). The latter was made to instill togetherness with the sustainability of efforts using theories and concepts put forward by WCED 1987) and Boons&Ludekefreund (2013). <br />

From all the research results can be concluded that Knitting Creative Industry Center of Binongjati can find forms of innovation that allows to apply. Nevertheless, a very significant general need for business diversity in Binongjati, namely the three forms of innovation, are: innovation for various design, innovation for management of labour and also innovation for promotion and market share. <br />
