Marketplace applications (C2C e-commerce) is very common in Indonesia that local merchants are not easy to sell local products because the abundant competitors and bad popularity of local products. So, a marketplace system that is only used by local sellers from a certain city is needed. This system uses Payakumbuh city in West Sumatera as a case study. The development of this system is focused on sales, product management, question and answer, and product acceptance. The software development life cycle used in this system development uses Waterfall methodology. The front-end of this system is developed by using web programming language (Typescript, AngularIO framework). The back-end of this system is developed by using Laravel framework that uses PHP. The database of this system is using PostgreSQL. The testing of this system is composed of functional testing and non-functional testing. The outcome of the functional testing is compared to functional requirements and the outcome of the non-functional testing is compared to nonfunctional requirements. The result of this system is a marketplace system that has been tested and evaluated, especially in sales, product management, question and answer, and product acceptance. This system hopefully can help local merchants to sell online in a certain city. This system allows city government can elect official merchants and guarantee the quality of sold products so the popularity of the local products will increase in Indonesia. So the income of local merchants will increase and the popularity of certain city’s local products will increase too.<p align="justify"> text
