To prevent and overcome that happened of sea piracy and sea robbery, TAIL-AL do effort preventif and represif But that effort not yet fulfilled expectation to all sea consumer exploiting region of territorial water of Indonesia as commerce stripe and traffic lane because there are some constraint faced by TNT-AL among other things geographic factor becoming best protection to all pirate, spread of event location which need different handling and sum up patrol element owned by TNI-AL. Geographical Information System (GIS) used to do analysis of event location to existence of geographic factor. By using approach of SIG, process analysis of event location to existence of geographic factor will be more to easy . From result of the analysis knowable characteristic from location of later occurence applicable to predict of location estimated to be made place of sea piracy and sea robbery. Result of analysis location event to geographic factor existence show that location of sea piracy and sea robbery event generally be at distance 4 mile and 8 mile. Geographic factor have an effect on is dangerous navigation, island and groove sea transport text
