Performance test of small-scale horizontal axis wind turbine with airfoil NREL in diameter 2 meters is continuation of Johannes Sormin's final proect and will be tested with various wind speeds. Parameters that need to be obtained from the testing are maximum power and torsion on various wind speed, also coefficient of power. <br />

The results that is got from performance test is maximum torsion of wind turbine is 1 Nm, maximum power is 2,7 W and maximum Cp of wind turbine is 0,048. Some phenomena that can be analyzed is an increase of wind speed affect torsion and power that can be generated by wind turbine, cut in wind speed of the wind turbine is 2 m/s |
