Volcano eruption causes the volcano morphology creation such as crater. The development of knowledge and technology causes the development of study of volcano activity that one of that is volcano crater. The research provides a method to create 3D model of volcano crater such as Mount Tambora and Mount Tangkubanperahu based on Sentinel 1A and DEM Data. The data processing was done by using software such as SNAP, Surfer 13 Demo Version, ArcGIS 10.2.1 and Ms. Excel. Sentinel 1A data was processed to produce the RGB image of volcano crater then overlay it with the DEM data to define the crater area to produce the 3D model. The crater threshold detection was done by doing interpolation of the cross section using isosceles trapezoidal shape then creating the volume of the crater based on the data from the threshold detection was done by doing interpolation the crater shape using truncated cone. The results of the research are the 3D model of each crater and the morphology characteristic of the crater such as diameter, surface area, and volume. The trapezoidal model can not represent the crater morphology well because it is needed more point to interpolate the cross section of the crater. <p align="justify"> text
