Tanjung Priok Port development is describe on Declaration of Transport Minister No. 38 of Tanjung Priok Master Planning regarding the addition of Terminal in as North Kalibaru. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The addition of a new terminal potentially changing the pattern of hydrodynamics both in Tanjung Priok port area and it’s surrounding as well. The purpose of this thesis is to have general review how far the changes determine Hydrodynamics pattern, as the result of this North Kalibaru Terminal development. The Hydrodynamic pattern in this case is referred to the tides, currents, waves, and sediments, in particular the authors try to assess the aspect of port development Tanjung Priok affecting the surrounding beaches, and also analyze the effect of waves that occur in Kalibaru Terminal turning basin for security and convenience of loading and unloading process. The author conducted a study of the changing hydrodynamics pattern with the help of software MIKE 21 that consists of Hydrodynamic modules, Spectral Wave, and Sand Transport. MIKE 21 software output as water surface elevation, speed and direction of currents, wave height and wave period, and the sedimentation pattern on the coast of Tanjung Priok as well. The results of the study on sedimentation (Sand Transport Module) shows the influence of Kalibaru Terminal construction to the beaches around Port of Tanjung Priok. Meanwhile the results of modeling wave (Wave Spectral Module) as height and wave period, it is known that the loading and unloading of containers and bulk liquid does not meet the tranquility criteria in the port that indicated with the ship motion amplitude value that exceeds the predetermined permission. From the analysis of the wave author recommends some breakwater in front of Terminal Kalibaru. text
