Various industries in South Bandung area, especially the 25 industries that process the waste at the WWTP Cisirung, largely a textile company and a small portion is a food company. The liquid waste generated from the production process approximately 206,61 liter/sec or 17.851 m3/day, whereas the truth is processed by WWTP Cisurung is 69,44 liter/sec or 6.000 m3/day. Key parameters for waste characteristics are pH, BOD, COD, TSS, phenol, Total chromium, Total ammonia, sulfides, oils and fats as well as color. Cisirung WWTP consists of three main processes physics processing, chemical processing, and biological treatment. The configuration of the processing unit in Integrated WWTP Cisirung consist of equalization, coagulation-flocculation, sedimentation I, the contact-stabilization (aeration), sedimentation II, sludge treatment in the form of sludge thickening and decanter. Wastewater treatment needs of industry excess causes less processing as well as the presence of several processing units were damaged, so the need for improvement and increase the capacity of the Cisirung WWTP. The non-run of physical & chemical processing unit, ie coagulation-flocculation unit due to the addition of coagulant is not done, causing the result of IPAL processing to have new problem that arises that concentration on color parameter and TSS is still high value. Then the processing unit in the physics and chemistry of this needs to be corrected by appropriate design of the required capacity. By doing the uprating redesign, the expected processing wastewater effluent quality can meet the quality standards set by the government that is in accordance with PERMEN LH No.5 year 2004 Regarding Wastewater Quality Standard Appendix XLII specifically for the textile industry. text
