Active matrix of natrium silicate made at low pH (named by NASIL1) and also high pH (named by NASIL2). Hereinafter made catalyst of NASIL-USY ZEOLIT China with zeolite USY composition of 40 % weight. Examination done to active matrix characteristic which pore size measure and surface area use appliance of NOVA type 1000 surface area analyzer. Activity of active matrix and also NASIL-USY ZEOLIT China catalyst tested with measuring of cracking conversion and also acquirement of coke. Third of active matrix which yielded certain characteristic that is surface area around 150 m2 1 g, coke result of cracking reaction less than 4 %-w, and cracking conversion around 20 %-weight. NASIL2 made at high pH yield conversion which much the same to with NASIL1 made at low pH. Cracking conversion with NASIL2 also yield smaller coke compared to NASIL1. If compared to RCC (Reside catalytic cracking) commercial katalis, NASIL-USY ZEOLIT China catalyst give lower conversion, but its selectivity much the same to with RCC commercial catalyst. text |
