This thing then provides convenience for anyone to find and get information they want with ease. But with the emerging data on web, data quality becomes an importan thing to be considered when the data are going to be used. Data quality can be evaluated by analyzing data provenance to know trustworthiness of the data to see whether the data are trustworthy or not. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Provenance is defined as origin of data, for example it stores data movement from one source through other sources until the data have reached the last destination. A possible solution to assess data trustworthiness based on provenance is to use cyclic framework. This framework was used to assess data from sensor network by using value similarity and provenance similarity. Trust score is always calculated continuously every new data have arrived. But this framework can only calculate numeric type of data. Because data on web have different types, further approaches are needed on how to calculate similarity and provenance for web from web. Also some ways to calculate on how trustworthy are the data and their sources are needed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The purpose of this research is to adapt cyclic framework that was used for data from sensor network to be able to assess trustworthiness for data on web. To achieve this, some approaches to calculate similarity for data and provenance and assess trustworthiness for data and their sources are included. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The result of this research is an adapted cyclic framework so this framework can be used to assess trustworthiness data on web. Provenance model on sensor network to be processed by cyclic framework can also be adapted for web because the main principle of provenance for both of those cases is similar, that is to records path of data transfer from one source to another sources. Cyclic framework was used in sensor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> network also can be used for web so with this method, data quality issue on web can be solved by knowing trust score of the data and their sources. text
