For construction companies working on a project basis, accurate and up-to-date information management in the procurement process is one of the keys to corporate success in the face of increasingly tough business competition as 50% -60% of the total project cost comes from the procurement process (Soeharto, 1995). Utilization of technology can be one way for companies in improving the accuracy and informality of information. For that reason, companies need to consider the development of procurement information system as a means to improve their competitiveness. <br /> <br /> In this master thesis is given proposal of procurement information system design in procurement section that can support management and integration of data and information related to procurement process in PT. Wijaya Karya Gedung Tbk. Data and information will be managed in a system that is expected to be a useful source of information for the parties involved in the company. <br /> <br /> In order to prepare for the implementation of the proposed system design then this master thesis also proposed a number of recommendations for the company, based on the results of the evaluation of the readiness of the company. The readiness of the company is evaluated by collecting employee perception data related to the view of the change content that will be applied with the existence of procurement information system, the resources needed for system implementation, as well as the support and resistance of the organization in responding to the implementation plan of the information system.
