This field is an anticline which elongated in a NE-SW trend and the center of the fold is cut by normal fault. This normal fault divided Q Field into three main area, namelyQ Field west area, central area, and east area. Study object is located in Lower and Deep Zone. Hydrocarbon potential is only observed in the east area because there has never been sufficient research on the hydrocarbon potential that exist in this area. <br /> The objectives of this study are to understand the geological setting of research area and get to know about its reservoir characterization, also to conduct reservoir modeling on F15-3, F17-8, and F17-12 parasequence marker which is located in Q Field Lower–Deep Zone. After reservoir modeling has finished on Q study interval, it can be calculated how much OHCIP (Original Hydrocarbon In Place) and RHCIP (Remaining Hydrocarbon In Place) in Q Field east area. The available data used for this study are core data, log data, seismic data,and dynamic data which is pressure data and production data. <br /> Core data was an analogy from J Field which is located in the same zone with Q Field because there is no core data in Q Field Lower–Deep Zone. Core data from J Field was used to analyze electrofacies and depositional environment in Q Field. Facies deposition in F15-3, F17-8, and F17-12 marker composed entirely of distributary mouth bars and delta front shales. Depositional environment is located in delta front. <br /> Reservoir modeling was done to reservoirs in 3 marker parasequences in Lower–Deep Zone. OHCIP and RHCIP calculation was only done to Q Field east area. OGIP in F15-3 marker is 1.28 Bcf. OOIP in F17-8 marker is 3.01 Mbbl. OGIP and OOIP in F17-12 marker is 2.56 Bcf and 0.45 Mbbl. RHCIP calculation was only done to F17-8 marker and it gave ROIP 1.01 Mbbl.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> text
