To calculate the positron range from each radioisotope, positron emission were simulated in the water phantom using the Geant4 Application for Tomography Emission (GATE). The results of this simulation are frequency to the positron range in the form of Gaussian distributions. From this distribution curve, FWHM analysis was carried out to determine the contribution of each radioisotope in reducing PET spatial resolution. The magnetic fields effect of 0.5 to 11.7 T on the PET system will be simulated. From the results of this simulation, the new FWHM values will be obtained and compared to the previous results. text |
