<br /> <br /> The centralized system has brought Indonesia to a state of inequality, especially in the economic sector. That phenomenon becomes one of the causes of the implementation of regional autonomy system. One of the forms is fiscal decentralization. In 2015, this fiscal decentralization is applied on the village level in the form of a Village Fund (Dana Desa/DD). DD is aimed at stimulating the growth and economy of the village, with priority of use based on the principles of fairness, priority needs, and village typology. The Village Fund also aims to realize the three pillars of the “Desa Membangun Indonesia”, namely the development of the economy through the potential of the local economy. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the role of DD in accelerating local economic potential. This evaluation is done through identification of the local economic potential of the village, identification of DD realization, and impact of DD utilization in encouraging the village economy. Cihideung Village is one of the Advance Village (Desa Maju) that have obtained the Village Fund since 2015. The village has local economic potentials in the agricultural sector, especially in ornamental plants (rose). In the utilization of DD, Cihideung Village prioritizes its use in village development programs, primarily on the provision of basic infrastructure. Only part of the program is implemented in accordance with the priority of DD utilization (for improving the village economy), but based on the realization of the program, DD has been able to boost the economy through the economic potential of the village, as seen from the increase in community income, the expansion of employment, and decreasing transportation cost. <br /> <br /> <br /> Key words : Fiscal Decentralization, Village Fund, Village Typology, Local Economic Potential. <br /> &#8195; <br />
