It needs special studies and advance analysis concerning that Indonesia locates in earthquake prone region. The purpose of this thesis is to review dynamic loading of minaret structure due to the shape irregularity and the high of the structure that exceed 40 m. According to Indonesian Guidelines for Earthquake Proof Structures Design (SNI-1726-2002), the dynamics loading used for design are actual ground acceleration and artificial ground acceleration which is constructed and adjusted to spectrum response. Dynamic loading with nominal static equivalent earthquake load approximation is not effective for designing tall building. The dynamic response is based on time history analysis and modes analysis carried out with SAP 2000 software 8.08 version. The results of this method are displacements of time history analysis and displacements of modes contribution. From the displacement values of each story, we could decide which one is affected the structure the most. text |
