Twelve sub-sectors of Indonesia's manufacturing sector efficiency and productivity changes were analyzed by utilizing non-parametric data envelopment analysis and the growth accounting method. The results of this study will not only have important theoretical implications for development economics, but may also shed light on and change the specific policy practices for supporting the manufacturing sector in Indonesia and other countries.<p align="justify"> text
