| Summary: | Everything is created in balance and complementary, as well as body and soul. The human condition is said to be healthy when body and soul are in an equal condition. People nowadays tend too busy with work and find it hard to meet the needs of body and soul. Recreation and closeness to nature is one of the efforts to restore body and soul condition. Ciater is a major tourist destination in Subang, West Java. The main attractions in the area are Mt. Tangkuban Perahu and natural hotspring water. This project focused is in designing resort and spa. This project is expected to support the demand for lodging accommodations with upscale function equivalent to Three-star resort hotel and has the advantage of leisure facilities such as spa and thermal baths that can attract local and foreign tourists. This project serves two kinds of services, lodging and recreational facilities. Lodging facility in the form of cottages with a total of 23 units is available for couples and families. The project is located on a steep land and the natural environment is preserved. This project focus is in the concept of natural environment and tropical architecture. The concept of tropical architecture applied both in landscape design and building design. This concept was choosen because of the uniqness and environmentally friendly. |
