| Summary: | Machine boarding vocational schools in Purbalingga has an area of ± 27,200 m2 located at Jl. Lt. Sudani, Purbalingga Lor, Purbalingga, Central Java, in the area of education and science called Wiyata Mandala. This vocational school in the form of boarding facilities is intended for outstanding students but has limitations with the economy. There are two majors at this school, mechanical engineering and welding engineering and there are two school programs, scholarship program and the regular program.
The site is divided into three zones, education zones (administration building, classrooms, laboratories and workshops), residential zone (dormitory building) and the support zone (mosques and multipurpose building). The main concept of this design is to create an atmosphere of industrial work which is discipline and educative as well as safe, comfortable and recreation for habitable which could be a model for similar schools in Purbalingga. The concept can be implemented by the zoning of mass of the building, placement circulation, the design of spaces in buildings, as well as with the design of the building. |
