State of Indonesia is an archipelago consisting of hundreds of islands spread from Sabang to Merauke, and certainly not all connected to the mainland needed other modes of transport that can overcome the problems of access to and from the centers. Modes of transportation that are excellent limitations that occurred amid the air transportation. The biggest advantages, namely in the field of service time is quite fast, so it becomes an attraction for employers who want to travel. The airport is the gateway that represents a region, city or state with all its culture and its potential. Airport's passenger terminal is one of the public facilities that have the purpose to facilitate the activities of the transition between air and ground modes. Airport's passenger terminal would I design is located in Pangandaran district with an area of about 7,550 m2. The project is to take place on the proposed West Java Provincial Government to overcome rebound passengers and as a replacement for the old passenger terminal will be converted into flight school. The passenger terminal, intended for local passenger market and foreign tourists who visit for vacation attractions that exist in the District Pangandaran. With the new passenger terminal is expected to boost the economy Pangandaran district, and promote the culture and attractions district Pangandaran in Indonesia and the world. The passenger terminal design metaphor approach to image symbolic forms of Pangandaran district as a landmark kawasaan and passenger psychology approach to creating a comfortable atmosphere for passengers when entering the passenger terminal. The terminal design uses a great concept "Welcoming Airport", to greet passengers with a typical locality Pangandaran district that starts from the approach access to the airport, get in the passenger terminal, to enter the plane.
