Summary:Cisauk Commuter Station in Tangerang, Banten is redesigned to accommodate the increasing number of train passengers which was predicted to reach 8.000 people per day in 2020, as well as to include some additional functions such as commercial areas, office area for the commuter train network operator company, and public area as in an outdoor plaza. The station is also designed to be an intermodal station where passengers can conveniently switch to other transportation modes beside train, to be a parkTandTride station by providing sufficient parking areas, and to be a welcoming gate to a soonTtoTbeTdeveloped BSD City’s Transit Oriented Development housing area. The main concept of this project is to design a station that is integrated to other transportation systems in the surrounding area, enabling people to commute with ease. The project is designed in an area of approximately 6 hectare, with 5.674m2 building floor area, 4.000m2 plaza as public space, and a parking area capacity of 150 cars, 300 motorcycles and 7 taxis. The station building is consisted of 2 storeys with the platforms and elevated railways located on the upper floor.
