| Summary: | It has been more than 24 years Taman Budaya Jawa Barat consistently improve people's appreciation of art and culture. Unfortunately, the active efforts of Taman Budaya Jawa Barat is not supported by the infrastructure optimally. The need has embodied the art facilities properly, but there is still a need for a development of the complex so there will be more convenient and integrated. Taman Budaya Jawa Barat is a proposed expansion project up to 32.000 m2. The land owned by Taman Budaya Jawa Barat which have not been worked out, will be built several facilities such as a gallery, studio, library, café and spaces both indoor and outdoor performances. Besides, Taman Budaya Jawa Barat has plenty of outdoor space that utilizes the cozy climate at Dago Atas area so that visitors can be comfortable in Taman Budaya Jawa Barat. The focus of the design of West Java Cultural Park is the site plans that prioritize pedestrian comfort in the experience of walking on the site. Flexible spaces within the site can be used for activities such as eventual festivals such as Festival Kampung Dago Pojok. Besides, Proscenium or better known as Dago Tea House Auditorium, will also be the focus of the design. |
