Vitabliss Botanical Hill is a nature tourism project in the form of organic farming that has commercial and relaxation facilities. Commercial facility is consisted of retails which have food and body care products with natural ingredients (such as vegetables and fruits), cafes, and restaurants. While the relaxation facilities is consisted of spa and bath, sauna, and beauty salon. This project’s extensive is about 3.2 hectares and is located at Jalan Cihanjuang Rahayu, West Bandung regency, West Java. Assuming the project owner is PT. Indonesia Paradise Island, while the majority of visitors are people in Bandung and its surroundings, as well as visitors from other cities and even countries. Contoured land conditions spawned the main design concept, "Grow Out Of The Hill", i.e buildings that seemed to grow or emerge from the landscape and increasingly rising gradually. This concept has two main building masses. The end of part in each building mass blends with the land surface, while the next part is a mass of rising up until forming mass on stilts. Overall building mass is placed lengthwise in accordance with the land shape and direction of the slope. To create a natural atmosphere to the tourist activity, the designer used glulam as the main structure of the building that can support organic forms. In addition, glulam is a building material that supports the concept of environmentally sustainable, but has not been developed in building construction, especially in Indonesia building. The natural environment and use of natural materials is expected to create a feeling of happiness (bliss) for the visitors at the moment when they enjoy the products offered by the existing facilities.
