Nowadays, Indonesia has a wide range of developers which also helps the development of its community interests and talents in the field of multimedia. There is not just a few institutions in this certain field in Indonesia which has spawned many experts, but do not make optimal use of knowledge studied for the development of multimedia itself in the end. Therefore, one of developing multimedia academy in Indonesia, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), is planning to establish a Development Center which specializes in the field of creative multimedia industry. The building is planned to be established as a Business Incubator / Business Incubation for those who want to set up their business start-ups in this field, both small and medium scale. It also has facilities dedicated for provisions in knowledge and orientation towards the development of ICT and multimedia, in the form of semi-formal education and information centers, which is expected to give birth to practitioners in the field of multimedia who are ready to become technopreneurs. The project is located at Jl. Gading Serpong, BSD, Banten, at a location of expansion owned by University of Multimedia Nusantara, which is still in the development stage. It is hoped with the selection of this strategical location and the assumption of project owner, Multimedia Development Center Nusantara will be in the range of multimedia developers which will be able to generate superior start-ups & competitive business in the future.
