The increasing public interest in the sport that not only provide health and fitness, but also brings entertainment such as football became more popular. In Indonesia, especially Bandung football became a popular sport not only for exercise, but also popular as an entertainment sport. ISL is a populer football competition in Indonesia. Pelita Bandung Raya as a football club from Bandung who participate in that competition, not yet have a standards-compliant stadium to join that competition. Siliwangi Stadium is a stadium that’s used by Pelita Bandung Raya as Its homebase. Therefore Its needed that Siliwangi Stadium to be redesigned as the standards and club Pelita Bandung Raya can join the national football competition. Siliwangi Stadium is located at Lombok street, Bandung. It has a total area of 9.3 hectares, divided into two parts, the northern part of 6.4 acres and The southern parit of 2.9 acres separated by Manado street. Siliwangi stadium will be a multi-use stadium with the main function of the football stadium. The project is a cooperation project between the club Pelita Bandung Raya with Siliwangi Military Command III and sponsor of the clubs. So the design of the stadium will involve such three interests. Therefore, in addition to support the primary function of the stadium, the building also has additional functions such as commercial areas and other sports facilities. Because of Siliwangi Stadium’s site is a sports function and open spaces that’s located in the center of Bandung, then there needs to be a connection or relationship within the urban contex. In addition to the connection either pedestrian access, public transport or private, there needs to be a connection with the activities of community activities. Then this stadium has a Urban Stadium concept that besides having the primary function of a football stadium, supported by the commercial area and a sports center, as well as being part of the open space that can be utilized people in Bandung.
