Summary: | Heritage buildings are important to conserve as identity of community. In Indonesia, heritage buildings are regulated by The Law of Heritage No. 11 Year 2010. The law states that heritage conservation should use zoning system, including core zone, buffer zone, development zone, and supporting zone. Eventhough the law has controlled heritage buildings, it is not elaborated by the implementing regulation. Many contents in zoning system should be explained in detail, and one of the most important content is how to delineate heritage zones and its zoning regulation. However, local government really needs this content for implementatating the concept. The delineation of zones and zoning regulation in urban heritage have not formulated yet, it makes the function from the zoning system has not operated yet. The aim of this study is formulating the concept of zones delineation and zoning regulation in Downtown Historical District, Bandung. The concept is formulated by normative concept (theory, regulation/law, and precedent) and existing condition (condition and characteristic)in Downtown Historical District, Bandung. The concept also formulated by stakeholders perception. This study uses qualitative methode and content analysis. This study results zoning concept, delineation of zones, and zoning regulation. After that, the delineation of zones and zoning regulation is illustrated in Downtown Historical District, Bandung. |
