With that movement of the people in need of adequate transportation facilities to support its activities. The movement raises accretion highway users. However, the increase of road users are not offset by the increase road capacity. If that happens, it will happen density at certain times due to the volume of vehicles that do not fit with the capacity of the highway. If this is the case and is not matched with adequate transportation facilities there will be congestion. One concept that could overcome this problem is the concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD). TOD concept is already widely in use in many countries to reduce existing congestion. In Indonesia itself has many areas of development of the region that have certain characteristics such as the trade and services with the concept of TOD, but there is no adjustment to the specificities of character theory TOD site. Redesigning the transit area Cimindi based TOD is one alternative to the development of regional transit Cimindi taking into account the design principles of normative, potential and problems of the trade and services Cimindi, as well as the perceptions and preferences of street vendors, public transportation drivers and people who move around the area of transit Cimindi. Redesign the form of transit area Cimindi in the form Cimindi railway stations, public transportation terminals and the central city of hawkers. text
