In the General Spatial Plan Garut, a sport region planned to be built in an area 80.000m2 in Ciateul Garut. This area is expected to accommodate sporting activities such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, swimming, and so forth.
In this final project, the authors designed a sports center in the area of Garut. Merging function between sports function with leisure functions into one aspect to be considered in designing the Sport Center. The problem solved by the design space for recreational sports at the same time both inside the building and outside the building. In addition, other important aspects of this design is the use of long-span structures in buildings. The final draft of the region's Sport Center may be able to improve the image sports building into an open public building, dynamic and can be used by people both for exercise and recreation. |
