Summary:Water is one of important substance that is needed by all living creatures on the earth. Beside as an input to their body, water also being used for various human daily activities, such as cooking, bathing, washing, field irrigation, and much more. However, water becomes rare good that is very difficult to find in recent times. One of the main reason is the enlarging of water pollution number. There are several ways to handle that issue. One of them is using frequently water monitoring method. On water monitoring, there is various parameter that can be observed. One of those parameters is Total Suspended Solids (TSS). TSS is the sum of particles that solved in water, which those can not pass trough the 0.45 mm-millipore filter. From TSS value that has been gotten, can be identified several problems that are ongoing or will happen there. As an example is about sedimentation problem. Remote sensing is one of method that can be used to estimate TSS value in certain water area. TSS value can be approached using image processing and do analysis from that result. But, there are still no certain tested-algorithm that can define TSS value on water area yet. From that five testing algorithm, known that Syarif Budhiman algorithm as the most suitable to the TSS in-situ measurement that has been done before. So that, this algorithm may be considered as an appropriate algorithm to extract multi-temporal TSS information. Based on research mechanism that has been done, can be known that this method cans describe TSS changing. But, that fact must be supported with another variable that not yet being included in this method. Hopefully, it will strengthen the result that been had.
