Fine art is an art industry that experienced rapid growth in Bandung City. Seeing the potentials exist, Indonesia Fine Art Foundation is willing to provide spaces and facilities to the artists and art communities for expressing and evolve their works due to promoting and developing the creative industry in fine art. Besides, this foundation needs an art space to establish its activities as well. Hence, this final project is designing a fine art gallery to realize the purpose mentioned. The project of contemporary fine art gallery that exhibit painting, sculpture, installation and craft art is located on Dago Pojok Street, North Bandung, West Java. The area is ± 2 Ha. The main problems exist are the site’s slope approximately 15%; the site directly adjacent to a river thus needs to be anticipated if it overflows; site surrounded by jungle and has no interesting view such as Bandung City view from above. Besides they become problems, the things above are able to be a potential to make an interesting design. Design strategy applied are utilize the sloping site by creating amphitheatres and designing a building that has different elevation, designing the waterfront, and making the view orientation go to inside. Besides, the main concept of the gallery building is continuity and interconnected space that applied on the circulation, zoning and building mass.
