Description
Summary:During the process of production ,the automotive industry PT . X ,Plant 1chemical and physical pollutants such as noise and temperature are being produced. The three kind of hazards are in the working environment and have an effect on worker’s health that can caused disorder and disease. Although the known chemical and physical hazards in the PT. X, Plant I’s workplace are still belong their respective TLV (Threshold Limit Values), but there is no information about the influence to the workers when this three kinds of hazards are combined in the hazard identification at working environment. The purpose of this study was to determined if there is an influence of the hazards in the form of Total HI from HQ of noise and temperature, and HI of chemical hazards to worker’s health status that obtained from the HUI questionnaire assessment. Hazard identification study was conducted by measuring noise and temperature level. Chemical hazard data’s consist of concentration substances/material in the air obtained from the air, quality monitoring held by PT. X, Plant 1. Risk values will be expressed as combined HQ as well as HI to predict the level of risk from combination three kinds of hazards in the working environment, aggregation will be done using the additive method. In addition, questionnaire conducted to determine the general health condition in the form of HUI by proportionate stratified random sampling method. Based on the results, the total HI values and the average HUI for each section production of Die Casting sexy, LPDC, Crank Case, Crank Shaft, Cylinder Head, Cylinder Comp, and Welding the 2.97 and 0.827; 2.641 and 0.835; 2.214 and 0.863; 2,166 and 0,836; 2.153 and 0.881; 2.089 and 0.847; and 2,444 and 0,836. This means that there is a tendency for decline in value, the higher HI values the lower HUI’s workers.
