Bandung doesn’t have any concert hall, especially for the classical music which needs a good acoustic. The main issues for this project are circulation, wide span structure, acoustic and environmental contextual. By choosing the site located between K.H. Mustafa street and Diponegoro street, where the center of West Java government area is, so the environmental contextual is very important. The building designed should be accorded with the surrounding because of an important building, Gedung Sate, which is a building icon for Bandung, is located near the site. By using harmony in urban as a big idea for this design, writer is trying to solve the problems and issues that consists in this project. This big idea is used to make a concept for the building mass, also for the building character. To design a concert hall, a proper sound insulation is needed in order to prevent noises to come inside the auditorium.
