Summary: | Indonesia is a country with high burden of Tuberculosis. Compared with other provinces in Indonesa, West Java has the most number of Tuberculosis cases. Tuberculosis transmission is happened inside a room where droplets could stay in the air for a long time. Environmental factors are important because people who has potential to infect other people could not transmit infection when stay in appropriate environment. The objectives of this research are to know risk relative (RR) of each environmental factors toward Tuberculosis transmission, to know significances of each environmental factors toward Tuberculosis transmission, to know the relation equation of all environmental factors toward Tuberculosis transmission, and to know the risk value of a residence which all of environmental factors not meeting the standard for having Tuberculosis transmission. This research is done with case control design. The number of residences being sampled are 60 which consist of 30 cases residences and 30 control residences . Methods for collecting data are physical parameters measurement, questionnaire and interview, also observation. Density is the most affecting environmental factor toward Tuberculosis transmission in Bandung. Toward Tuberculosis transmisiion, risk relative value of lighting is 1.625, humidity is 1.3, temperature is 1.222, ventilation size is 1.315, ACH is 0.935, and residence density is 1.643. Chi quadrat (?2) of lighting with Tuberculosis transmission is 0.938, humidity is 0.053, temperature is 0.006, ventilation size is 0.393, ACH is 0.267, and residence density is 1.875. There is no significance from all environmental factors. The relation of all environmental factors which are not meeting the standard toward Tuberculosis transmission in Bandung is ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ). 70.848% residences which have all environmental factors which not meeting the standard could have Tuberculosis transmission. |
