This suggests that vector control should also consider the seasonal variations. In this Thesis, the dengue fever distribution model assumes that seasonal variations affect the recruitment rate of vectors periodically will be discussed. After that the optimal control problem in the form of insecticide in the mosquito population with the Pontryagin Minimum Principle is also modeled. The simulation results show that the solution behavior of the dengue model with seasonal influences will oscillate for an enlarged time. While simulation results from optimal control problems showed that insecticide in mosquito population will reduce the infected human population and minimize the cost of insecticide. text
