One method for determination of DA is voltammetry, but sensitivity of this method is low when using normal electrodes such as Glassy Carbon, Platinum, and Gold. In addition, DA and Uric Acid (UA) are oxidized in the very close potential, so it is necessary to develop electrodes that can be used to analyze both compounds simultaneously. In this study, a Carbon Paste Electrode (CPE) was modified with Non-Imprinted Poly(Eriochrome Black-T) (NIP) and Molecularly Imprinted Poly(Eriochrome Black-T) (MIP) resulting in NIP-MIP electrode. The performance of this electrode was compared with that of CPE, CPE NIP, and CPE MIP. The NIP-MIP electrode was used as a working electrode for determination of DA and DA in the mixture with UA. The optimum pH for the measurement was obtained in the phosphate buffer supporting electrolyte solution pH = 6. The NIP-MIP electrode has the best performance compared to that of CPE, CPE NIP, and CPE MIP. In addition, this electrode had a good sensitivity for determination of DA with detection limit of 0.78 ?M for DA and was highly selective for determination of DA in the mixture with UA. text
