Barium titanate (BaTiO3) is ferroelectric material at ambient temperature with Curie temperature of 120oC. Ferroelectric properties of BaTiO3 could be investigated by measuring its hysteresis curve that was produced using polarization (Coulomb/cm2) and electrical field (V/cm) data. The curve determined internal polarization value that occurred in BaTiO3 due to voltage that was applied. In study BaTiO3 was synthesized by solid state reaction methods and the characterization of ferroelectric properties were carried out using Sawyer - Tower circuit. Structure and cell parameter investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The XRD result were refined by Le Bail methods with Rietica program. The measurement on the dielectric properties of BaTiO3 sample has Curie temperature of 110 oC and dielectric constant of 321.3 at 110 oC. Remnant polarization measured by Sawyer- Tower circuit using 100 nF capacitor were found to be around 4.6 - 7.1 ?C/cm2. Meanwhile, coercive field value is around 276.9 - 830.8 V/cm. text
